But he didn't "wipe the slate clean" did he? No sooner were Noah's family back on dry land than some peculiar incident took place which resulted in Noah cursing one of his own sons and all their future descendants. Not behaviour you'd expect in the "perfect" family that had just witnessed the destruction of every living soul on earth. And I've never understood what was wrong with the families of Noah's daughters in law, or his own wife. After all, the ladies themselves were obviously good enough to be chosen as their wives in the first place, and good enough to get a ticket on the ark, but apparently their entire families were just as evil as everyone else. It does my head in how anyone can believe this story actually happened as written. It really is tripe.
