Until now, women are called "Hareem" by the natives -Harem-.

The culture itself is pretty harsh on women; and that limits the concept of "women rights". Imagine being called a Harem by your own parents -who actually love you-, but since that's the name the native culture gives to women; you are reminded with every call -even by your loved ones- that you're nothing but a Harem.

"Horma" is the singular.

The some who understand get thrown in jail under charges like "disturbing peace-insulting the king...etc". Torture is the fate.
So many are hesitant to even talk about their views.

Therefore the numbers are a mystery. People only talk publicly when economy is dropped, like when the oil prices fell. Critics of the culture increased and it became somehow more frequent to hear a voice against the culture itself.

The culture needs to get washed away or even replaced, for voices to be louder. Also, the iron fist of the government prevents some from talking.
I don't think the numbers are big to change the culture.

BTW; Oppression made Saudi women stronger in many things. I can pretty much say that if a culture changer came; it'll be a group of women

Would help if the "great" nations of the world stopped sucking up to Saudi Arabia and actively condemned the governmental oppression of women and atheists there.

By the way, why it's not called Saudia in English instead of Saudi Arabia is beyond me.

Your worth is decided by how much money you have. If respect can't be earned; money can buy it.
Sadly; that's the case to many people.

"Saudi Arabia" is the correct abbreviated name; the original full name being
"The Arabian Saudi Kingdom" Or in Arabic
"المملكة العربية السعودية".

So in English, the name would just be abbreviated to "Saudi Arabia"; or in other words "The part of Arabia controlled by the Saud family".

This is what you get when you create a kingdom out of the blue in a desert that never was suited for a kingdom controlled by one family.
The place is hot, to immense levels, it's dry, and it's full of oil, and moreover: Britain got it after WW1. The native allies wanted a country like the rest of the other native allies -like the Jordanians-.

The English name is more correct than "Saudia"; Saudia became used by everybody in the Arab World -including Saudi people-because the original name is just too long. But the official name is nothing but "The kingdom of Saudi Arabia".

And Christians and other religious groups, along with LGBT and such.

I find religious groups and also other groups, easily persuaded by cash too

I like hearing about paranormal stuff :Smile I end up refuting them but it's more of a mixture of certain beliefs mixed with strange phenomena.

The dark stirs fear and shock, the shadows also play on the eyes making the mind confused. Add a bad dream to that, stress, fatigue, and you'll get yourself a scary show. I think your husband had an incubus of some sort?
