I think they've found the area of the brain that is linked to belief. In anything.
I think the religiousness suddenly found after damage to that area of the brain could also be attributed to whether they were already religious, religious upbringing, religious fears (going to hell), things that were happening in the world at that time, and other possible variables I haven't thought of.
Personally, I think it's a bit flimsy.
