It's the month God revealed the Quran in. 1400 years ago, a mere guidance to humanity; so we might revive and become guided to the path of God.
That we see the light.
It's not about food, drinks, celebration and feasting. It's about tasting hunger and get closer to God.
Relate even more to him.
In Ramadan, one should fast from dawn to sunset. Never eating or drinking except after sunset.
God is always near. He always sees and hears.
