It's silly to let an invisible and undetectable god tell you what and when you can eat. If you are hungry and it tastes good then eat it, simple and no one suffers

I would happily let an invisible and undetectable god set my diet, as long as the proscription was something like, 'Yea, and ye shall eat of the burgers, and of the grilled flesh of the beasts of the field and of the fishes of the sea, and ye shall topeth it off with a great whopping slice of Black Forest cake.  So saith the Lord'.
