I suppose I'm just a die-hard old reactionary - I tend to show support for the poor by giving them food, you arrogant, self-righteous prick. How the fuck is you missing a few meals supposed to 'show support for the poor'? You get to eat after sundown and before dawn, the desperately poor do not. You know there's a filling meal in your future, the poor don't. You live indoors, the poor (often) don't.
And I find it the height of pious insensitivity to claim you 'show support for the poor' on line. People without enough to eat are unlikely to own computers and have internet access.
You wouldn't know 'support for the poor' if it came up and bit you on the arse.
