(June 18, 2017 at 2:43 pm)KhemikalMore, you think he should have done more, than the more than any other president that he did? I\m guessing Trump will lose again, stat v stat vs Obama. Wrote: A, no ones going to fund his ethnic cleansing.
B, he wont serve for 8 years.
In any case, I understand where the comment came from now, at least, you've somehow attributed immigration stats to the savior of our race.
This is really weird.
How exactly does enforcing existing laws equal ethnic cleansing?
If these are bad laws why were they not changed? there were ample opportunities between 2008 and 2012.
Are you inferring that I am a racist?
Or is anyone who disagrees with liberal sensibilities automatically a racist?
If that is the case I will be done with you.
Please keep in mind that I am not trying to convince or win you over, just sharing my perspective.
I was asked in another thread how i would rank the 6 pillars of morality, the voting for Trump was not supposed to be the main subject of this thread.
I gave my perspective on why I voted for Pres Trump, most notably the lesser of two evils.
I am not without my doubts about this man.
I don't really trust Trump. I do not know what motivates him. The motives of most politicians are relatively easy to figure out. (who gave them the most money, how does my party/agenda think about the current issue?)
I would expect him to act in his own interest. (Politicians should not be able to enrich themselves or their families with public policy but it does happen, both sides are guilty and i needs to be stopped.)
I do not think he is incompetent.
I do not think he will do anything to upset business growth in the US while he is in office.
I do think he may look for ways to curb federal spending.
I do think will actively fund the military to bring it back to a state of readiness.
As i get older my perspective does change, personal experience is the driving factor.
I do seek out views contrary to my perspective because i find them interesting, and occasionally I find something that makes enough sense that it cannot be discounted.
I am not sure that this is in the correct section for this thread, it has very little to do with atheism and more to do with my political beliefs.
Perhaps this thread should be moved to a different location in the forum, I would hate that this be the first thing most people see when coming to this sight.
I really had no idea I was opening a can of worms.
I do think there are a large amount of conservative atheist floating around out there. Web sites like this help them know that they are not alone, and that they can find answers to questions and advise. Having tolerance for other political views will help other people drop the collar of religion from their neck.
