Don't get me wrong. I don't agree with capital punishment in any case. But, if we're going to do it, I say take it to their level.
Then that'll probably give them more incentive to try and do it right and blow themselves up before we can catch them. Also, IIRC, most Muslim scholars seem to agree that if a Muslim ingests pork products either against their will or unknowingly, it's not a sin.
That's why we make sure they know what will happen before hand. Hard to argue either against their will or unknowing if they know full well before hand and still decide to do it.
