I know he comes across a little troll-y, but in his defence:
He's Italian, so profoundly and hopelessly Catholic!
HE Eeeeenglish NO VERY GOOD MUCHLY
Google is not a very good translator expressing subtle sentiments cross culturally
He has small penis syndrome
He's a whiny arrogant little sod
His mother has a moustache
All of these things work against him and inadvertently portray him as a troll.
But who is the real victim?
