Certainly won't be a gain for the US, who helps them get armed and funded, while using them as their ground troops in Syria and other places. The West needs ISIS, so they aren't going anywhere just yet.

Many of the more "liberal" Muslims will deny it, however, even as many of those living in the West say they support beheading those who insult Mohammed.
I'm no fan of Islam but to be fair, even Al Qaeda has said that ISIS is way too extreme.
