I voted for him in the primaries. I still like him, saying I hope it isn't true doesn't mean I want to throw him under the bus. It just means if there is an indictment and a jury convicts him, then I have to face it.
He's just under investigation now, they may find nothing or they may decide only she was involved.
It is part of our species behavior to lean to defending family. He may not have done anything wrong but still had the intent of defending his wife.
Too early to tell right now and all I can say is I hope there is nothing.
