I understand your point.

MY point is insects don't need to be smart. They are perfectly adapted,we are not. Insects were here before we were and will be here long after we're gone.

If were so fucking smart, why are we still killed in our millions by microbes?

Intelligence is not necessarily an indicator of a high chance of a species survival. Two of the oldest predators on the planet,millions of years old, are among the most stupid:Sharks and crocodilia.

Our intelligence may well destroy us.
