Quick Poll - Do you believe in God?

The fact that they used a capital 'g' in the thread title pretty much says it all in case you're falling back on a deistic (pointless) stardude. What other basis for that particular deity du jour does anyone have other than the babble?

Different people use a simple g or a capital G.
That is not something that really worry me.
I personally use a capital G because it is obvious and logic that such a big universe made of matter must have a mind behind it and a big big mind as well so this big mind deserve my full respect.

Riiiiiight...because a mostly empty black canvas where a star explodes and goes out every few seconds that we could only find out about recently is totally indisputably something intentional. Or even the planet we live on is largely inhospitable to human life. Or the fact that there are viruses, parasites and other maladies that plague adults and children alike. You can argue all you want for a deist god but if you don't have something other than 'I lack imagination so badly that it must be that' then even that makes you sound stupid, and if you pretend you know what a creator wants or likes, you're even stupider.
