Ok. The guy has attempted to entrap subjects in the past with deliberately false or misleading footage. But he's also uncovered legitimate stuff (the ACORN video that, after further scrutiny, lost ACORN its federal funding) To be fair. The guy he recorded is a producer that is not at all involved in political coverage. But there's also a second part to this video that shows Van Jones saying something similar.

My point is that I've believed what this is saying is true before I saw the video. Just like FOX pushed the false narrative about Obama's birth certificate for ratings, CNN is pushing the narrative that Trump personally colluded with Russia. Now, the story has a far greater potential to be true than the further story. But right now it has no concrete evidence, and really no basis in fact. Yes, Flynn was working for Russia. Yes, some members of his campaign were in contact with Russia. And yes, Russia hacked the election. But everybody is waiting for that proof that Donald Trump did it himself and he's going to prison. And it's never going to happen. And it's CNN 's fault for making people think it will
