Um.
When you open your hand, things fall. That's gravity.
If you drop a helicopter from the sky, it will fall. That's gravity.
If you spin a helicopter's blades fast enough, they will a pressure differential: lower above the blades, higher below, and this will cause the helicopter to rise.
