Hey what's up guys I'm new here. I joined because i feel like i need to talk to people who don't believe all that bullshit.. I never really believed in god but I was listening on youtube to a Comedian/Atheist/Philosopher Called George Carlin (1937-2008).. and what he was talking about was hard hitting..

Does anyone wanna talk about shit ?

Hi, sorry but were over populated lol jk. You always did know the truth you just didnt want to admit it. Every christian or muslim or w/e the hell everyone believe's is merely hoping it's true, or should I say wishing. I Admit it's a beutiful fairy tale about extraordinay mircle's but it was all just a book and nothing more. Best science fiction novel ever id say, merely because it has so many fooled into believing it.

What's more rediculous a trekkie or a believer?

I personally never believed in anything either. To be honest, I do not ever really remember believing in Santa Claus... I must have been a very sceptical infant.

I never properly started being critical until I was about 15 when I first read the God Delusion... and it all went up hill from there. So I know how you feel when you first discover the marvelous world of religious discourse.

At least trekkies know that their lifelong passion is just make believe. Religious people actually believe it's all real.

That being said, is it more ridiculous for trekkies to take Star Trek so seriously when they know it's all make believe? I can understand when religious people want to dress up in funny costumes, but when trekkies do it...
