Well, the Islamites aren't bashful about lopping of heads that are spouting apostasy and heresy, so I can see there will never be too many Muslim schisms.

Still, the Christers weren't shy either back in the middle ages, and yet Luther seemed willing to risk immolation to start his own franchising operation. And as I recall, he was a little testy about his underlings schisming from his take on things.

Help me out here, Luther had at least one of his own offed for straying from his new and improved version of Christianity, didn't he ??

I don't know if that happened but there is some evidence he became a monk because he killed a man in a duel.
