When you make eye contact with someone newish you like, is there a statute of limitation on how many seconds of eye contact need to pass before before they turn into a serious potential life changing stare and 3 seconds later, into bedroom eyes! That happened to me today. Seriously unprofessional at work. A new stakeholder and we're having a private, work related conversation. She has a lilting Scottish accent and smart, engaging eyes. She was waxing lyrical about a framework for our project and I found myself just looking into her eyes. For obviously a little too long because she stopped mid sentence and met my gaze. I realised what I was doing and started. She smiled, still holding my gaze. I felt my heart rate climb. She gently laughed then looked away, continuing with her point as I shook myself from my stupor. She's been popping to my desk a lot since Blush
