Supporting people despite their differences is a great example of love.
The mind always wants to see reason, and religious people tend to see reason against their beliefs as a test; as though god is testing them like he did with Job.
The worst part I remember when I was leaving the faith was the absolute harshness being directed at me from people who were absolute saints so long as I was a believer amidst them.
And that is not love. That is not even Christian.
