No one uses Aquinas to prove anything scientifically, but so what if they did? That's hardly the fault of Aquinas, is it? You seem to be tripping over your own argument, here. You want to make Aquinas out to be an idiot because of your claim that people misuse what he wrote to try to prove things he never said about things he didn't care about. By your rules, Einstein would also qualify as 'a delusional idiot' because people try to use relativity to prove God exists.
