And this making-up of answers strongly implies that no actual gods were involved in the creation of various holy books. One would hope that a deity would provide accurate data rather than dumbing information down so much that it would later be shown to be false. There may yet be a god-like being out there somewhere, but probably not one that humans have worshipped.
