Why would she assume that she would die, for attending a protest in the United States of America? Even when the nasties get rowdy..in america, we expect the law to step in and utterly shit on them. Cops aren't exactly shy. There was alread an armed conflict between groups. Not only were the neo-nazis armed...they weaponized a vehicle and plowed it into people.
In a less racist sympathizer version of america..there would be concurrent raids happening all across the country right now - with image after image of nazi pieces of shit in cuffs, faces in the dirt. This was not an isolated incident, or the sole example of extremist domestic terrorism.
The last time nazis got uppity we firebombed their cities in the dark of night and had their leader not ended up in a ditch, covered in gasoline, on fire, we'd have shot him in his grill. Apparently, since then, we;ve turned into a bunch of pussies who would rather blame the victims for their having been victimized than bitchsmack a fucking shitlord and anyone who so much as mouths a syllable in his defense.
