Breitbart has had its chance and had blown it. Even Hitler had known how imperative it was to act civil, moderate and respectable when he first ascended to The pinnacle of power in Germany. Breitbart and its motley collection of followers, symathsizers, and fellow travelers, with help from the orange haired shit gibbon himself, did just the opposite.
Previously it had been off main stream and mostly below radar, and as such was able to work effectively but more or less unnoticedly through various shades of alt-right and their sympathizer. Now it will forever be associated in just about everyone's mind but those of the alt-right with the "alternative facts" lunacy and fringe interest too extreme except in 6th grade fantasyland of the uneducated layabout with attitude of entitlement but not enough discernment to realize the importance of government services to his own welfare.

Breitbart may dance on trump's grave when trump is molding, but before that, trump is still the president with nothing to lose, breitbart has hardly strengthened itself through association with trump, and hardly has any other plausible path back to significance, so breitbart won't launch a war with trump.
