Previously it had been off main stream and mostly below radar, and as such was able to work effectively but more or less unnoticedly through various shades of alt-right and their sympathizer. Now it will forever be associated in just about everyone's mind but those of the alt-right with the "alternative facts" lunacy and fringe interest too extreme except in 6th grade fantasyland of the uneducated layabout with attitude of entitlement but not enough discernment to realize the importance of government services to his own welfare.

Breitbart may dance on trump's grave when trump is molding, but before that, trump is still the president with nothing to lose, breitbart has hardly strengthened itself through association with trump, and hardly has any other plausible path back to significance, so breitbart won't launch a war with trump.
Hitler was always narcissistic and bombastic, but yea, when he started his movement he was more selective about how he sold his sick shit. That is why lots of people in his early days didn't take him seriously.
But, the good thing is when he gets knocked off his perch, we will be that much wiser, even with Pence because more and more Dems and swing voters are on to the coded crap.
