I had an apprentice who was in his fourth year and woefully unprepared for the real deal.
I asked him to make rissoles one morning and he nodded but looked extremely hesitant.
I asked him if he knew how to make rissoles, he said yeah.
I said, 'what are the ingredients, Dan?'
After about thirty seconds of humming and harring he said, like it was going to be just the first of many answers, 'Flour?'
