Actually, he was a failed novice who was kicked out of a monastery for a lack of discipline and severe mental problems he didn't always take medication for. He never took holy orders (therefore, not a priest) and at, to his credit, he doesn't claim to have done so. He's still lying about having been a full-fledged monk and his antics are NOT authorised by ROCOR, though. This is why I called him a rogue agent.
