This area is renowed.for it's win and is a windsurfing Mecca, that same wind is causing the fire to burn incredibly hot, and as can be imagined, it is spreading quickly. Last night the fire jumped the Columbia River to the Washington side.
The destruction of this National treasure is heartbreaking.
It may be sad to see it happen, but this is nature at work. It's no doubt happened many times in the past; fire is nature's way of spring-cleaning.
