We have already been over the whole civil war was not about slavery and white nationalism bullshit . You side lost it was about both . Building statues to the confederacy honors both . History needs to be remembered not commemorated . You lose .
Yes there were racists in the north . But again that's not what the union were fighting for. And no don't bring up the whole "but the soldiers BS . We could excuse any evil regime by that logic . And no don't try the whole but colored people fought for the confederacy . Colored people fought for the Nazi's too . Are the Nazi's no longer racist. Again you lose.
And as I said there is a vast difference between sleeping around and stealing some quotes and plunging a nation into one bloodiest in American history . To enrich some fucking plantation owners . And no it's wasn't state rights the Confederacy was far more oppressive to states.

Quote:If we only had monuments to perfect people there would be no monuments. So you would be fine with us raising monuments to Osama Bin laden then right near the twin towers right . After all he was not perfect . But hey he was not totally evil . We can't expect perfection right . Or how about dozens of other "imperfect" people .

Seek strength, not to be greater than my brother, but to fight my greatest enemy -- myself.
