That's great! The vagus nerve is amazing. When you go poop and bear down and you feel light headed you are stimulating your vagus nerve. Not trying to be petty. That is just how fundamental the vagus is. In nursing homes and hospitals, elderly people passing out on the toilet is so common nurses have turned "vaguled" into a verb. The patient has collapsed, is pale, diaphoretic, sitting on the toilet. "He must have vaguled". They are hypotensive and bradycardic. They usually come around within a few minutes. Vaguled to the point of death is my primary theory for dead Elvis.
