It's a little weird when anyone complains about a form of peaceful protest. There are generally two kinds of protests. Peaceful ones, and riots. Nobody likes riots, and if you criticize people for doing it peacefully, then what do you expect them to do. Well, honestly, hey kind of expect people to just shut up and take it, but that's not very forward thinking.

But no, some players had to bring politics into the stadium. They couldn't leave it at the gate. For some of us, sport is a way to forget about the outside world for a little while. They have taken that away from me. Now all the fun is gone.

I thought sunday was bullshit, but the origin of it all: "not wanting fellow black people getting shot willy nilly" isn't really a political opinion.  Unfortunately, it got twisted into one.
