Here's my protocol:

  1. Be sure someone didn't fuck with my antidepressants.
  2. Ask what the religion he represents is.
  3. Listen to see what he says about the problem of evil.
  4. Ask bluntly WHY it's so important to him that I praise him.
Honestly, if the God of Christianity is true the way I learned about him in my Lutheran Church, Catholic High School, and especially if he's the same god from the Chick Tracts, I can see no reason I should respect him any more than I respect Donald Trump.
