Don't get me wrong; I expect all bad things to happen to the U.S -not wishing; but expecting-. Yes; slaves might've ended with Lincoln's move, and the multi-cultural model proved to be a great empire making, but the U.S is moving down the drain with the return of racism to be the vote of people since the days of Bush; not just Trump.
There was once a strong voice wanting peace and multiculturalism; but it's getting weaker and weaker. It was weak in the past; got revived in the near present; and went to the drain in the present. The racism and death America spread after WW2, will be enough to bring it down.
If you ask me; the only true way to achieve a perfect society is an unknown. I quote God:
Quote:Sura 11, The Quran:
(118) And if your Lord had willed, He would certainly have made mankind a single nation. Yet they shall continue to differ.
(119) except those on whom your Lord has mercy—and that is why He created them—and the word of your Lord has been fulfilled: ‘I will surely fill hell with jinn and humans, all together!’
It will be "you and them" when that voice be silent; in my opinion.

Our country is basically built on Celtic savagery, Saxon agriculture, and Norman wisdom.
Heard some stuff about the Anglo-Saxons, and saw the movie of William Wallace, not the William the Bastard, never heard of him, the Celts were also on my radar because of their tribal Music. And I know that the different tribes living there gave the Romans hell. Normandy is linked to WW2 in my head.

You're neglecting to mention the Viking dentistry.
Weren't they raiding the shores and destroying whatever they find in the way?
Never thought that they added a cultural heritage to Britain. Maybe just got mixed with the local populations.
