Mystic, out of all the theists here, you are not one of the ones I hate. I am deeply concerned, but I don't hate you.
I am trying to speak to you as a fellow human whom sees the same behaviors in myself, and the needless harm I caused myself hating myself.
Any adult whom sells you the idea you are evil from birth does not have your mental health in mind. They are only concerned about controlling you through fear and blame. It took me a long time to realize that I was more at peace with myself when I did not let others get to me. The world is going to say what it says and does what it does, but regardless, no baby is born evil.
Mystic, you know what could help you relax a bit here?
Try starting a non religious thread about your favorite hobbies, like sports, or music. Do you like soccer? What are some non religious books you like? Do you like traveling? What are your favorite movies?
It may seem like I debate constantly here, but I do other things too. I love watching my Skins NFL football, rant and yell at the TV when they blow a lead and lose a game. No, it's not serious, but it allows me to release my stress. I love telling corny jokes to get people to laugh.
Like, did you hear about the new atheist restaurant? Nothing will be on the Menu.
My mom was my greatest joy to spend time with. We didn't get along as well when I was growing up, but she did become much more relaxed in her old age. I loved doing silly things with her, just to get a smile.
I do that even with my cat. I will dance in front of him and he will look at me like, "really, you had to adopt me didn't you?"
Learn to have some fun, even here talking about non religious things. We do have non religious categories like sports, TV, music, gaming, arts.......
Balance your life, stop beating yourself up.
