Not excusing the behavior, by any means, but the press has to say "alleged 'whatever' criminal behavior" because they have been accused of "trial by the press", in the past. One would think that just because the news said it, that it would be true, and defense attorneys have taken them to task for that. I think this started in the '60s. I know, video evidence is going to convict him, but the press has gotten that card hung around their neck. Fucking stupid, I will agree. Hoist by his own petard!
