One of the items on my "never hurts to ask for what you want" wish list: I would be deliriously happy if there was a worldwide ban on frightening children with tales of hell, punishable by loss of parental custody and hard jail time.

Most kids will undoubtedly write-it off. But, as a transgender female in my early teens (not even hearing the word "transgender" for another 2 decades), I knew that I was a sinner destined for the "eternal fire", and I believed that I was going to Hell for having feelings within me (being a girl and cross-dressing as such) that I was simply unable to control.
