I'm not sure what you mean. That's not 90's HTML, most of the features aren't even runnable in IE6.

Perhaps. But considering it's doable in a few lines of modern CSS (using linear gradients), it looks pretty good.

Also, the moving icons at the top are unsophisticated.

Considering they are doable in some 20 lines of JavaScript each, they look quite good. I don't have much patience for those things.

Without looking at your code, I’m guessing you’re using tables for layout.

I'm not. I am using the HTML5 layout. Why?
