Miami and Orlando are also fun, hip places to visit. The rest of the east coast cities are: meh... DC is popular but i find it overrated. Most places close early unless things have changed since i visited.
DC is overrated as a tourist spot, but for some reason I want more than anything to live and work there.
Edit: actually now that I think about it DC has a lot of great stuff, I've just seen it all so many times that I don't care anymore. So I guess I just disagree overall.
I like DC. I would be happy to revisit. I just founded it overrated. There wasn't much of a night life. But i haven't been there in years so maybe things have changed. I wasn't sure if this was Valk's first time in the east coast and was referring to places with plenty of activities and night life. Tourist hot spots.

I'm planning on going to Miami Beach in July...the water is warm and the beaches are fabulous!
