If you knew me irl, you'd probably be among the number who pass me by without seeing me. I can be, and have been, among a crowd of people and still been alone. But check out my reputation score here. I've taken the time to get to know people here, certainly far easier then out there in the world, and let them get to know me. I didn't start out here as an Admin, with a posse of friends. I happened to know one or two people from other forae, who just happened to land up here together but separately, and have been able to con everyone into thinking I'm responsible enough to be on Staff. (Note to self: don't post that bit out loud.) I've been here a good few years now, and I only recently got to meet up with fellow members.
We're a friendly bunch. Just take your time, get to know us as people, and share whatever you feel comfortable so doing.
