I give my friend J a pass for being a Christian because he's a member of the Metropolitan Community Church (an affirming denomination for LGBTQs) and the mere existence of the MCC drives so many of the other Christian schisms, denoms, branches, spinoffs, splits, and knock offs bat shit crazy.
 The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.
