You seem to take people with a lack of humor too seriously. 
People are just wired differently. A lot of people don't care for my humor either. I have a very dark sense of humor. Even in funerals i have to hold my laughter.
The one thing i do despise is when people use humor in a passive aggressive manner. Their intent is obviously to insult someone out of anger or resentment but when called out on it they back peddle out of it and say "oh no i was just joking." And worse blaming the other for not having a sense of humor when it is clear they were being insulting.
