Indoctrination is unfortunate, but the parents usually are doing what they think is best. Not to mention, some religions basically require you raise your kids to be religious.
Though if you call it child abuse, then you too are a child abuser for enrolling your daughters in a catholic school knowing full well what that entailed.
There are situations where parents use it as an excuse to be bad parents.
However I feel like this thread isnt talking about literal abuse, its just exagerating. I was gunna defend parents too, but then I read the post, and then thought this was going to be a neat conversation about the psychological effects of indocrination.
