How do you reconcile your god, the mass murderer?

Yeah I have problem with killing babies, like anyone else that isn't a psychopath or brainwashed Christian. And their parents since people like Canaanites did nothing wrong except being at the wrong place.

But if God cleans the earth of its destructive inhabitants, so that future generations can have some semblance of a normal life, we call him a tyrant.

Cleans from destructive inhabitants? He orders killing of babies and then rape of women, I guess women were clean enough but not the babies

When god killed non-Israelite, like that, he killed them because he was jealous

So indeed why would someone, like you or anyone, worship and apologize for such flawed and evil creature? God proudly announces: "I am a jealous God!" Jealousy is insecurity. It is the fear that someone you love will not love you back, a dread that they will choose someone else. It is possessive and controlling, based on an assumed right of ownership. It is shaky vanity. It is the terror of losing the property that bolsters your sense of self-worth. It's pathetic. Yes, your god is a pathetic loser.

Exodus 34:14–15 For you shall worship no other god, because the Lord, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God. You shall not make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land, for when they prostitute themselves to their gods and sacrifice to their gods, someone among them will invite you, and you will eat of the sacrifice.

Notice the word "prostitute." That’s like calling a wife or girlfriend a "slut" because she talks to another man.

Deuteronomy 6:15 The Lord your God, who is present with you, is a jealous God. The anger of the Lord your God would be kindled against you and he would destroy you from the face of the earth.

Is that just? Is that normal? Is that worth worshiping?

God punishes indiscriminately, both the good and the bad, with his sword

He even punished David's wives as for his sin as well as killed his newborn son

Or when he in 2 Samuel 21:4–14 killed seven of Saul's sons and grandsons to end the famine. Could he not just end it instead of killing people, even children? Or you still see this as cleaning the nation from destructive inhabitants?

I mean you are non Catholic christian meaning you came from the rebellious Protestants, who also want to believe that "all the congregation are holy," inquired that same from the Holy Roman Church. Because you have the same situation when Korah (we could call him precursor to Martin Luther) and 250 leaders of the Levite tribe thought that was not right that Moses was the ordained leader of the Israelites, and all of God's instructions came exclusively through him and his brother Aaron, the high priest - a nice nepotism.
Numbers 16:3 You have gone too far! All the congregation are holy, every one of them, and the Lord is among them. So why then do you exalt yourselves above the assembly of the Lord?

Is that not a good question valued by your own branch of Christianity? Is that not the same question Protestants, who also believed that "all the congregation are holy," asked the pope "Why do clergy exalt themselves above the congregation?"
