I really hate memes like this. It allows fearful theists to fear change. Humans run everything. Hitler's genocide and Stalin's brutality still involved the support of theists. Can technology be used for bad? Sure? Should even atheists blindly follow or trust each other? No. But science itself is not a human, it is a method, a tool.
Our laws are what prevent abuse, common law, nothing else. Ethics is when all sides strive for compassion, empathy and minimize harm.
If someone chooses to call it quits because of terminal illness I have no problem with that. But, even with that, regulations by government need to be put in place to insure it is strictly the decision of the person with the terminal illness, and not profit motivated by the government or doctor.
I agree with you on that but at the same time things like that, if they did exist, would cause morale problems and even other problems onto itself.
More or less would something like this get regulated under this government and i would say more than likely and it would be banned. But even then suicide
in the U.S. is a problem a very bad problem.
