How do you reconcile your god, the mass murderer?

You might like to put some suggestions in the box as to how the world should be run.

Do I really have to argue that a secular democracy is better than a theocratic dictatorship? As if these kinds of things haven't been tested before, and one doesn't prove substantially better for Humanity than the other? You have admitted that the world is pretty ok right now. You just seem to give credit to your deity for this, despite the best places in the world being somewhat socialist, with very little power in the hands of theocrats.

Sure, theocracy never worked, it could have, but it didn't. We could say the same about any ideal.

The new communism, is almost global...it works for a large class of society. I wouldn't recommend a religious government, it's wrong.

It sounds like you've never had a positive view of the Bible.
A lot of people don't, and there are a few reasons for that, the main one being that they have no connection with God through a knowledge of the Bible, and prayer.

Or...and I'm just spitballing here, maybe it's because magic book is full of terrible shit and there's no shortage of people who play back and forth between justifying it and pretending it isn't in there?  I always find it amusing that gods mouthpeices on earth think that it's somehow on the person who just doesn't "get" how righteous divine ethnic cleansing is - they just didn't pray enough about it.  Who'd have imagined that a god would be such a poor communicator?

You are quite right, every war, every attrocity in the world since day one, has had a spiritual or religious backbone. And that includes what we typically view as a political/secular wars, such as WWI and II. There are specific religious organisations behind all wars.

That sounds as silly as temporary amnesia regarding the contents of magic book.  Are you having this conversation internally?  I ask..because no one proposed as much in thread.
