Well lets look at worship shall we.

In Christianity, worship is reverent honor and homage paid to God. In the New Testament various words are used for worship. The word proskuneo "to worship" means to bow down to Gods or kings.


So whats wrong with worship? 

Bowing down to gods or kings. It sets something up that is greater than yourself or the group. Now if someone can convince you that that worshipped being or person supports something awful you get atrocities.

For example. If some deluded fool thinks that abotions are wrong in eyes of god no exceptions then they would feel justified to kill abortion Drs.
If they think that western civilisation threatens their beliefs they will attack potent symbols of the west.

And on and on.

Worship breeds horror, not all the time but when it does, the wrath of a true believer is hard to stop. And that would be true god or no.

And if you are worship the real Jesus? fo reelzs?

What atrocities did he command what did He demand from His followers???

You guys are quick to point out how Jews worshiped God, but "WE" are not Jews. We do not have to cultivate and or tame the landscape There is not one who can wipe out the message of God now, which was true back then.

So following the rules of Christianity and not OT Judaism (as OT Judaism is all but a dead religion) how is it wrong to worship God?

So you are saying that jesus is not the god of the old testament.

But that's beside the point. A worshipper can be convinced to commit atrocities in the name of whatever they worship. You know this is true. It doesn't matter what the NT says what matters is what you can convince believers of and they a re a gullible bunch.
