Men and women are never going to be "equal" in the biological sense of the word. They should be treated equally by society though.
As a tall person, I find airplane seats discriminatory! Which they are, I suppose, to an extent. And it's fine to whine about it a bit. But if I made a Tall People Rights group, and we just complained about low hanging signs and airplane seats, then it'd be a bit of a farce.
I think that may be why MRA get mocked, not that they are trying to add some nuance to some issues, but that they've formed their own little group when, while there are some minor inconveniences, being a man typically is a pretty good gig.
