I feel the need to set the record straight. CL, you and I both incorrectly accused Hammy of the no true scotsman fallacy. Hammy, you were right, we were wrong. And we were wrong because you differentiated true feminism from what you consider false feminism in your statement. That's not the no true scotsman fallacy. If Hammy had said "Feminism is X" and then we criticized an aspect of X, and then he said that the particular criticism didn't apply because that particular aspect of X is not true feminism, then he WOULD have been committing the fallacy. But what he was doing was simply differentiating true feminism from false feminism, and while he might still have been erroneous in his assertions, his logic was sound. Sorry, Hammy.
