I saw the post as a joke but maybe you're right. I don't know.

As far as which beliefs are sillier, I think it might be a tie. Min still holds to the idea that Hillary was a fine candidate, and that is so laughable that to me it's just about as silly as the idea that God created the world in six days. Bottom line is that when you lose to the underdog who has a 32 % approval rating this early into his Presidency, you were not a good candidate. Period. Getting more votes is irrelevant. Russian interference is irrelevant. Russia spent $100,000 on ads? Well damn, that only means that Hillary still outspent both Trump and Russia combined 2 to 1 on advertisements. So unfair, I know, that Hillary only had the two to one advantage over Trump. Make it three to one, and then it would have been fair, maybe. Anyone who still thinks Hillary was a good candidate is practicing an extreme level of cognitive dissonance. Min may admit a couple of her faults, but usually just deflects, like when Hillary told the FBI 39 times that she could not recall. Most people here, in hindsight, don't have an issue admitting that she was not the right candidate. Min is sticking to his story though.

I think that the Dems will do fairly well.

Hillary did not have to be perfect.  She merely had to be sane to surpass the walking turd that is in there.

I know I'm not forced to read them. I want to read them to see what the story is about. I'm just saying that you were pretty much begging to have him make that joke by making the thread title so vague. If you told us who you were talking about in the thread title, then I don't think he would have posted that he thought the thread was about Hillary, because it would have already been clear who the thread was about. I took it as a light hearted joke, but maybe I'm wrong and he would have brought up Hillary even if you were clear about who the thread was about. I'm not defending the other times he brings up Hillary to deflect from how shitty the GOP is. The Republicans suck, and of course Hillary doing something doesn't make it ok for them to do something similar. Also, there is a huge difference between being more sane than the alternative in Trump and being a good candidate. Bill Clinton and Barack Obama set the bar for what makes a good candidate. You should be comparing her to them, or look at how someone super popular like Biden would have done this time around. Surpassing Trump in sanity is not relevant to whether or not she was a good candidate. Being sane and being a good candidate are two very different things, and the two should not be conflated.
