Did you just quote the Bishop because he said something you agree with, like bashing Trump? Maybe the Bishop is a wolf in sheep's clothing and is not a true Christian. If Jesus is insulted by me it would be for much more than just my supporting President Trump.
Bishops are talking directly at you, saying that Jesus cries when you support Trump, and your only worry is what will I say - what kind of a christian are you? Shouldn't you kneel in front of the bishop, kiss his ring and say "Forgive me holy father, I was wrong. I will do as you teach me."?
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"
