Most Americans don't own guns. Most Americans that own a gun own just one. Three percent of Americans own one half of the guns in the country, that's ~250,000,000 guns owned by ~90,000 people.
Um where did you get that stat? NRA has 5 million members, I think 90k seems pretty low.
But yea it is true that most Americans DON'T own firearms. And there are far too many that hoard them like the end of the world is coming.
I do get tired of the fear of those who simply want to reduce firearm deaths. If the laws worked the way the far right claim, we would not have 36.000 firearm deaths per year.
AND just this past week we had two RURAL local shootings including a double murder so the crap about it being strictly a city thing is just that. I have lived in a rural coastal community for 12 years, and we have shootings and murders down here too.
